Identity

The title of this project is Identity, and I was inspired by Grayson Perry's vases "who are you" documentary. 

Before I was asked to make 10 draws from personal objects, then I had chosen the most relevant and made collage producing an A2 sheet. 

I felt strongly about it, and I decided to transfer my own Identity into my work. Therefore, I created a paper mache vase that tells a bit about me, as it was designed using the most relevant images incorporated in paper stripes to create a moving vase.

   

It was successful, and I found it interesting how it came up.
The rich textured surface from drawings on the paper, shattered and unrecognised images, gives this artwork an impressive look. It is who I am.
